What is pathological grief?
Pathological grief (or complicated grief) is a state of lasting and disabling suffering following the final disappearance of a loved one. It comes from an emotional overflow linked to the pain of the loss which cannot be integrated and comes to saturate the psychic restoration capacities of the individual in his life.
